Engrossed in Bad Eating Habits

Many people look at those who tend to ‘preach’ about nutrition and ‘green’ living as broken records, seeing it as a fad or phase, but the reality is that health affects everyone and one should get your own house, or fridge, in order before you have to face that ignominious health scare to serve as a wake-up call to shunt you into some healthier living. The so-called ‘preachers’ are actually onto something – eating your veggies and getting your daily supply of vitamins and minerals is essential, even using a list of calcium rich foods as a guideline could help. Society has engrossed itself in bad eating habits. So much so that getting out of those habits seem quite hard. The key word around this trench of bad habits is convenience. It simply is the easy way out and anything contrary to that naturally requires a change and extra effort, not to mention commitment – all things that do not come to us readily.
