During my University days, once I got a chance to go overseas to Argentina for studying. It was during that time I decided to learn Spanish and applied for the “study abroad program”. Apart from learning the language, I had another distinct advantage – I would get credit points for my degree. Selection to the program was easy, as I already knew a little bit of Spanish. There was no accommodation facility offered by my university in Buenos Aires and I had to arrange for my own accommodation. I did some search on the net and I was lucky enough to find one in Palermo. I rented the place along with some other foreign students in Buenos Aires.
The owner of the apartment was an crazy, but pleasant Uruguayan person. After I reached Buenos Aires, he was there to pick me up. I received a lot of first hand information about Buenos Aires from him. Equally good were my roommates. I was happy to meet them after I reached the apartment. The first evening at the apartment was very enjoyable and probably was the best . We organized wine tasting party in Buenos Aires . Every one invited everybody they knew, and everyone invited person was supposed to bring the best wine that they could afford with them. I had such an awesome time. I came to know so many new people. All of them had brought Carbernet, Malbec, or Bordeax. All of them were were really high quality wines! My friends are true wine consumers, and always drink the top wines available to them.
Since then we haved planned so many wine tasting parties. They are extraordinarily fun, you should really try it yourself. If you are coming to Buenos Aires, please come to our apartment. This is a nice place to stay. People are always coming and going, having a great time, and enjoying themselves with a glass of Malbec. Rest assured you will cherish your stay here. Buenos Aires is a superb place.
